L-Lysine

Lysine is an α-amino acid. This amino acid is an essential amino acid, which means that humans cannot synthesize it. L-Lysine is among important amino acids which play the effective role in human body. L-lysine is protein amino acid. It is a common form of lysine. Certain proteins, such as those found in meat, poultry and milk are rich in L-lysine. Proteins found in grains, cereals and their products are typically low in L-lysine. Small amounts of free L-lysine are found in vegetables, vegetable juices and in such fermented foods as miso and yogurt. L-Lysine is a basic building block for all protein in the body. L-lysine helps get improved the absorption of calcium from the digestive area and prevent loss of calcium in the urine.
